While the rest of the Web holds off on evaluating Twitter’s latest advertising model and longterm monetization strategy, the microblogging service revealed some fairly impressive statistics about its recent growth.

The company announced at the beginning of November that it has more than 175 million registered users, which is an increase of about 30 million since September. Going back to April 2010, Twitter has added more than 70 million users in just over six months — at an average rate of about 370,000 new users per day. It is entirely possible that Twitter will be crossing the 200 million member threshold very soon.
